Best tips for busy moms to lose weight

1 – Eat Smaller Portions

When it comes to lose weight as a busy mom, you don’t need to cook your food or even eat different foods for weight lose. You just need to eat less, and it doesn’t take time or cost money. Most people need to consume between 1,200 – 1,500 calories a day if they want to drop pounds in a healthy way—and for a lot of people, eating in appropriate sizes, skipping dessert is one of the easiest ways to reduce their total calorie intake.

2 – Squeeze in More Movement

Setting time for a 30- or 60-minute workout is okay, but you can burn loads of calories in not-so-okay workout situations, too. If you can fit in 10 minutes in the early morning, 10 minutes in afternoon, and 10 minutes in the night, and you can do that five days a week, you’re there.

3 – Make sure you’re sleeping enough

When it feels like there you don’t have much time, it may be tempting to wake up super early so that you can get everything done—especially if you’re trying to squeeze yourself in regular exercise in addition with everything else you have to do. That strategy can be not so good if you’re not getting enough quality shut-eye for your body to function properly.

4 – Switch To A High-Intensity Workout

The best workout for weight loss don’t require hours in the gym. In fact, multiple studies has shown 20-minute high-intensity workout (HIIT) may burn more calories than 45 minutes on the elliptical. Try this exercise, which you can do running, walking, biking, or with any cardio equipment: Warm up at a moderate pace for 10 minutes. Go all-out for 20 seconds, then switch to an easier pace for 40 seconds. Repeat the 20- and 40-second intervals six more times. Then cool off at a comfortable pace for 10 minutes.

5 – Eat More Fiber

Here’s one weight-loss trick that requires no extra time: Eat at least 40 grams of fiber a day. People who did that for a 12 months lost as much weight as those who followed a strict diet plan with 15 components in a new University of Massachusetts study says “For people who find it difficult to take complex  recommendations, a simple-to-follow diet with just one simple message—increase your fiber food intake—may be the way to go. The logic is too simple: eating foods rich in fiber and vegetables, makes your tummy feel full, so you have less room. Less room equals high-calorie junk food.

In the end I just want to say no matter how busy of a mom you are, there are options to tweak your day-to-day life and make your weight loss efforts work within your schedule.
